Boeing India Announces Winners of University Innovation Leadership Development Program

Boeing announced seven teams comprising university students and early-stage start-up entrepreneurs as winners of the fifth edition of the Boeing University Innovation Leadership Development (BUILD) program 2026.

The winning teams are Aerosearch Technologies, Alkamy Carbon, DIASOL Pvt. Ltd., EarthSprint Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Oreejoy MedTech Pvt. Ltd, StelX Dynamics, and SWRN Systems Pvt. Ltd. These winners will be further supported by Boeing and incubator partners over the next few months to help develop their ideas into market-ready and viable business solutions. Each winning team will receive a grant of INR 10 lakh to support the development of their ideas.

Over the past five years, BUILD has received more than 7,000 applications and supported more than 35 startups across sectors including aerospace and defence, technology, sustainability, and social impact. The program has also expanded its engagement with India’s wider innovation ecosystem, bringing investors and venture capitalists into the conversation with participating startups.

Additionally, throughout the BUILD journey, finalists work closely with engineers and technologists from Boeing to transform their ideas into viable business solutions.

Boeing continues to partner with seven incubators, namely, Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) – IIT Mumbai, Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) – IIT Delhi, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center – IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Madras Incubation Cell, Foundation for Science Innovation and Development – IISc Bengaluru, T-Hub Hyderabad, and KIIT Bhubaneswar – Technology and Business Incubator (TBI), to organize BUILD in India. Applicants are invited to submit ideas in the fields of aerospace and defence, technology, social impact, and sustainability.

Over the years, Boeing India has supported skill development, innovation, and capability building in the country through programs such as BUILD, the HorizonX India Innovation Challenge, the Accelerated Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Apprenticeship, as well as the National Aeromodelling Competition with the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).
