Embraer and SkyWest Airlines extend long-term heavy maintenance agreement for 271 E-Jets the U.S.
Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ; B3: EMBJ3) and SkyWest Airlines have signed a long-term extension for heavy maintenance services covering the airline’s fleet of 271 E175 aircraft in the United States. Under the agreement, maintenance activities will be carried out at Embraer’s Services & Support facilities in Nashville, Tennessee; Macon, Georgia; and Fort Worth, Texas. The extension expands the scope of the existing program and increases available capacity, supporting SkyWest’s long-term fleet planning and operational requirements.

Embraer continues to expand its maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) footprint in the country. In Fort Worth, the company is investing approximately USD 70 million in a new commercial aviation MRO facility at Perot Field Alliance Airport, expected to be operational by 2027. Once completed, the expansion will increase Embraer’s service capacity for E-Jets customers in the U.S. by more than 50%.
The Fort Worth site complements Embraer’s existing operations at Alliance Airport, where services have been conducted since June 2025, and will play a key role in supporting growing demand for E-Jets maintenance in North America.
Globally, Embraer’s Services & Support network includes more than 80 Authorized Service Centers and 13 company-owned service centers, providing comprehensive support to customers worldwide.
