Vizag Airport News: GMR Warns Job Seekers About Fake Recruitment Offers

Vizag Airport News
GMR Visakhapatnam International Airport Limited (GVIAL), which operates Vizag Airport, has issued a warning to job seekers about fraudulent recruitment offers being circulated in the name of the airport and GMR Group.
The airport operator said that some people are sending fake recruitment messages and making false claims about job opportunities at Vizag Airport. Job seekers have been advised to be careful and verify any employment communication before responding.
GVIAL clarified that neither GMR Group nor Vizag Airport charges any recruitment fee from candidates. Job seekers are not required to pay money at any stage of the recruitment process. The airport also warned candidates not to make payments to individuals, agencies or intermediaries who promise to arrange jobs at the airport.
The company said that no job is offered in exchange for payment. Candidates should therefore be cautious if someone asks for money in return for an interview, appointment letter or employment opportunity.
Vizag Airport also clarified that it does not conduct walk-in interviews for recruitment. Genuine vacancies are announced only through the official GMR Group careers platform. Candidates looking for employment opportunities with GMR Group or the airport should check the official recruitment website and apply through the proper process.
The warning comes after a recent case of fraudulent recruitment communication was reported in the name of the airport and its operator. Officials have urged job seekers to independently verify recruitment messages before sharing any personal or financial information.
Candidates have also been advised not to share sensitive details with unknown people claiming to represent GMR Group or Vizag Airport. This includes bank details and other financial information that could potentially be misused.
GVIAL said that following the official recruitment process is the safest way for candidates to apply for available positions. Job seekers should check the source of any vacancy and avoid responding to unofficial messages or offers.
The warning is aimed at protecting candidates from recruitment scams and preventing people from losing money or personal information to fraudsters using the name of Vizag Airport or GMR Group.
