Noida Airport News: YEIDA to Launch Two Residential Plot Schemes During Navratri

Noida Airport News
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is preparing to launch two new residential plot schemes near Noida International Airport during Navratri in October 2026. The schemes are expected to attract homebuyers and investors as demand for land in the Yamuna Expressway region continues to grow.
The new residential plots will be developed in Sector 5-A, located close to Noida International Airport. The airport has increased interest in nearby areas because of better air connectivity, improving infrastructure and the possibility of future industrial and commercial development.
According to the information shared by YEIDA, one of the upcoming schemes will be designed for the low-income group (LIG). Under this scheme, applicants will be able to apply for residential plots measuring 40 square metres.
The second scheme will be open to the general public. Plot sizes under this scheme are expected to range from 162 square metres to 300 square metres. The exact number of plots and other details will be announced by YEIDA after the final planning process is completed.
YEIDA Additional CEO Shailendra Bhatia said that the authority is currently working on the details of both schemes. The final information about the number of plots, application process and other conditions will be released later.
The upcoming schemes come after a strong response to YEIDA’s previous residential plot scheme. In June 2026, the authority allotted 973 residential plots through a lucky draw.
The earlier scheme received more than 1.1 lakh valid applications, showing the high demand for residential land around the Noida International Airport area. The scheme had been announced in April and attracted a large number of people looking to purchase property close to the airport and upcoming development zones.
The current allotment rate for residential plots in the Yamuna Authority area is around Rs 36,260 per square metre.
YEIDA has also planned eligibility restrictions to ensure fairness among applicants. People who have already received a residential plot under an earlier scheme from the Noida Authority, Greater Noida Authority or YEIDA will not be eligible to apply for the new schemes.
This rule is intended to give more people an opportunity to participate in the upcoming residential plot allotment.
The development of Noida International Airport has increased interest in the Yamuna Expressway region. The airport started commercial flight operations on June 15, while its cargo terminal opened two days later.
Better air connectivity is expected to support tourism, business, logistics and industrial activity in the region. Large-scale infrastructure projects around the airport are also creating new opportunities for residential and commercial development.
The availability of new residential plots in Sector 5-A is therefore likely to attract both homebuyers and investors.
With two new schemes planned for Navratri, the upcoming YEIDA plot announcement is expected to generate significant interest. More details, including the number of plots, application dates, eligibility rules and allotment process, are likely to be announced by the authority soon.
