An IndiGo flight from Lucknow to Dammam in Saudi Arabia made an emergency landing at Ahmedabad Airport on September 10 after a suspicious note carrying the word “BOMB” was found inside the aircraft.
The flight, IndiGo 6E97, landed at Ahmedabad at around 5:55 pm. According to the available information, all passengers and crew members on board were safe after the aircraft landed.
The incident triggered a major security response at the airport. Airport security personnel, police officials, the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), fire teams and bomb disposal specialists were involved in the security operation.
