More than three decades of partnership: Uzbekistan Airways signs long-term support agreement

  • Comprehensive component support for Boeing 787 and Airbus A320ceo/neo fleet through 2035
  • Supporting the airline’s fleet growth and strengthening connectivity across Central Asia

Uzbekistan Airways and Lufthansa Technik have signed a long-term agreement for comprehensive component support services covering the carrier’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A320ceo/neo fleets through 2035. The new contract further strengthens a partnership that has successfully spanned more than three decades.

Under the agreement, Lufthansa Technik will provide extensive component pool support and supply services for Uzbekistan Airways’ fleet, ensuring rapid access to spare parts and helping maintain high operational reliability and aircraft availability across the airline’s network. The long-term collaboration reflects Lufthansa Technik’s commitment to supporting the airline’s continued expansion and modernization strategy over the next decade.

A three-decade partnership

Since the airline added its first Airbus A310-300 to its fleet in 1993, Uzbekistan Airways and Lufthansa Technik have maintained a trusted relationship, built on mutual reliability, technical expertise, and shared commitment to operational excellence. Over the past three decades, Lufthansa Technik has supported the airline’s evolving fleet and operational requirements, helping it to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality services across its network.

As Uzbekistan Airways continues to pursue its fleet renewal and growth strategy, the airline is investing in modern, fuel-efficient aircraft to meet increasing demand and further strengthen connectivity between Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia-Pacific region.
