AFI KLM E&M Appoints Benoît Rollier as VP KLM Engine Services

Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance (AFI KLM E&M) has appointed Benoît Rollier as Vice President KLM Engine Services, effective April 1, 2026.
He succeeds Martijn de Vries, who has taken on the role of Senior Vice President Commercial.
Rollier brings experience from across the KLM organisation and the aviation sector, having held senior roles spanning engineering and maintenance, supply chain, and finance.
Most recently, he served as Vice President Engineering at KLM and as CEO and Managing Director of Spairliners, the joint venture with Lufthansa Technik.
AFI KLM E&M said Rollier has developed in-depth knowledge of the engine business and will continue the chosen course while further driving the development of KLM Engine Services.
Anne Brachet, Executive Vice President Air France–KLM Engineering & Maintenance, said Rollier’s broad experience, understanding of the organisation and leadership approach position him well for the role. “I am confident that he will contribute significantly to the continued development of Engine Services and maintain the high standards set by his predecessor,” she said.
Mathieu Essenberg, Executive Vice President, KLM Engineering & Maintenance, said Rollier’s appointment is a key step for Engine Services. He added that Rollier’s expertise and collaborative approach will support efforts to strengthen capabilities and deliver greater value to KLM E&M and its global customers.
The appointment comes as AFI KLM E&M continues to build on its engine maintenance capabilities, with KLM Engine Services forming a central part of its broader engineering and maintenance operations.
