Siemens advances aerospace innovation with industrial AI at Farnborough International Airshow

Siemens today announced its presence at the Farnborough International Airshow, where it will demonstrate how aerospace and defense companies are using industrial AI and the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio to accelerate digital transformation, improve collaboration and reduce program delivery timescales.
The aerospace and defense industry continues to face increasing complexity, including rising program costs, supply chain disruption and evolving sustainability requirements. Siemens helps organizations address these challenges by connecting engineering, manufacturing and operations through the comprehensive Digital Twin.
“Industrial AI and the Digital Twin are helping aerospace and defense companies navigate increasing complexity and unlock new levels of innovation,” said Ben Sheath, vice president and managing director, UK & Ireland, Siemens Digital Industries Software. “At Farnborough, we are demonstrating how Siemens Xcelerator enables organizations to leverage trusted data across the lifecycle, helping them accelerate development, production and improve mission readiness, all through connected digital threads.”

At the event, Siemens will present a multi-sensory experience demonstrating how companies can take a specialized drone variant for search and rescue missions from engineering through manufacturing to sustainment. Using the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio, organizations can create a continuous digital thread across the lifecycle, helping to improve agility, resilience and operational readiness.
In Engineering, multidisciplinary simulation and industrial AI help to ensure auditable flight safety. In Manufacturing, Siemens’ technology helps accelerate production and resolve supply chain issues using tools such as Siemens’ recently announced Digital Twin Composer. In Sustainment, Siemens’ Intelligence Center X uses industrial agentic and domain scoped AI to analyze contextualized data and support proactive decision-making, helping to reduce disruption and maintain operational performance.
Whether developing next-generation aircraft, defense platforms or complex manufacturing programs, Siemens is helping aerospace and defense organizations apply digital technologies to transform how products are designed, built and sustained.
