Boeing and Technovation Announce 2026 Girls’ Global Tech Competition Champions

Technovation, the largest global AI education nonprofit, today announced the winners of its annual global tech competition for girls. Fifteen finalist teams from 13 countries presented their apps to judges at the 2026 World Summit on October 8, hosted at the Boeing India Engineering & Technology Centre in Bengaluru, India. Grand Prize winners include:
- SAMRUQ.AI – Monitors underground mining hazards in real time so rescue efforts can start before disaster strikes. (Kazakhstan, Senior Division)
- Emergen – A scannable QR code that links to a person’s medical profile in an emergency, with no app or passcode required. (United States, Junior Division)
- MyWisTree.com – Saves and translates the family stories Indian grandparents share on WhatsApp. (Canada, Beginner Division)

“The future of technology will focus less on the power of tools, and more on how we leverage their power to innovate,” said Tara Chklovski, founder and CEO of Technovation. “This year’s winners underscore the impact that power can have in solving local challenges that can inspire and be adapted to needs in communities around the world.”

The World Summit builds on a 12-year partnership between Technovation and Boeing, including a $250,000 investment that will help connect 25,000 young builders with engineers around the world for hands-on, project-based learning.
“At Boeing, we believe that the future of innovation depends on giving the next generation opportunities to build, experiment, and solve real-world problems,” said Salil Gupte, president, Boeing India & South Asia. “We are proud to partner with Technovation and support these solutions that will undoubtedly shape our tomorrow.”
